My name is Gizem, I’m 28 years old, an architect and an incoming PhD student at Aalto University. I’m from Turkey and completed my Master’s degree in Italy. I’ll be moving to Helsinki this autumn and I’m currently looking for a furnished room or studio for approximately one year, starting from September 2026.
About what I’m looking for:
A furnished room in a shared apartment or a small studio
A place with reasonable access to Aalto’s Otaniemi campus
I’m open to both shared and private accommodation
Ideally, I’m looking for a one-year rental
A little about me:
I’ve lived abroad for several years during my studies, so I’m very used to living independently and sharing a home. I’m clean, respectful and easy-going, and I really value a calm and comfortable living environment.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, going for walks, playing tennis, exploring new places.
I’m really excited to move to Helsinki and start my PhD at Aalto, and I’d love to find a nice place to call home for my first year there.
