Important Requirements & Schedule
You must be a member of the Aalto University Student Union (AYY) to rent this apartment.
For incoming exchange students: Joining is easy and costs 32.00 € for the autumn semester. Once you receive your Aalto student number, you can simply request the payment instructions from Aalto Student Services at opiskelijapalvelut@aalto.fi.
The subtenant must have a valid Finnish home insurance (kotivakuutus, including liability cover) for the whole rental period. It is inexpensive and easy to arrange online from any Finnish insurer.
Schedule: Because AYY requires the sublease agreement to be registered at least 1 month before the rental starts, we need to sign the contract by 31 July at the latest or move forward the starting date of the contract.
Payments: The deposit must be paid upon signing the contract to officially secure the apartment for you. The first rent payment will be due in August before your move-in.
